Job Title: Commercial Loan Processor

Reports To: Assistant Commercial Credit Manager

Citizens National Bank has an excellent opportunity available in our Commercial Credit Department in Bluffton for a Loan Processor. In this role you will prepare and process commercial and agricultural loans accurately and within time constraints. 

A typical day may include the following: 

• Prepare and process commercial and agricultural loan closing and related documents such as promissory notes, security agreements, loan agreements, mortgages, closing statements, etc.
• Ensure final loan packages comply with approval requirements prior to preparation of documents.
• Ensure final loan documents contain any covenants as required by approving authority. 
• Prepare closing transactions, authorize and/or disburse loan proceeds, and perfect security interests. 
• Upload loans into the Bank's core computer system, ensuring all coding is accurately input. 
• Prepare and process other legal documents as needed.
• Provide customer service to Lenders and Loan Assistants via telephone or email.
• Compose routine correspondences and reports as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree; and previous experience with secretarial skills, customer service, Word and Excel. Ideal candidate will possess at least two years prior loan experience. 

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge and proficiency with MS Office Products required.
• Keyboarding proficiency is necessary.
• Must be able to meet deadlines and be attentive to detail.
