At Eko, we’re dedicated to providing healthcare professionals with industry leading digital tools to hear and understand their patients’ hearts and lungs. With our platform, clinicians can detect cardiopulmonary disease with higher accuracy, diagnose with more confidence, manage treatment effectively, and ultimately give their patients the best care possible.
With over $165M in funding from partners like 3M and the Mayo Clinic, Eko has become one of the fastest growing digital health companies, doubling our customer base in the last year to over 500,000 clinicians across 4,000 U.S. hospitals. We’ve built a tremendously talented, diverse, and mission driven team and are proud to be certified as a Great Place to Work®. Together we are committed to investing in each other and our mission to ensure all patients have access to high quality care.
We're seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design and manufacturing of our next-generation digital stethoscopes. You'll own the complete mechanical development lifecycle, from concept through mass production, working at the intersection of consumer electronics, medical devices, and advanced acoustics.
This role demands world-class mechanical engineering skills paired with curiosity and competence across multiple disciplines, including electronics, acoustics, manufacturing processes, and data analysis. While you'll be the mechanical expert on our team, you'll also need to speak the language of our AI, firmware, and clinical teams to create products that meet both rigorous medical standards and consumer expectations.
We're looking for someone who thrives on variety, equally comfortable sketching initial concepts, building rapid prototypes in the lab, optimizing designs for manufacturability, and ensuring compliance with FDA requirements. You'll need to seamlessly shift between the methodical precision required for medical device development and the creative problem-solving of a fast-moving startup environment. This is a rare opportunity to apply deep mechanical expertise across an unusually broad range of challenges while building products that directly impact patient care.
This is a hybrid role with required onsite presence on Tue/Wed/Thu.
