Goshen Therapeutic Services, a division of Goshen Valley Foundation, is a community-based social service organization that provides services for families involved with DFCS as well as in the community. We are currently seeking a full-time Training Coordinator to support CORE services. We are a DBHDD & DFCS partnered agency that works with families that are involved with DFCS.


The Training Coordinator role is essential in ensuring that new contractors/employees are effectively oriented and integrated into our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive training and support to enhance the productivity and performance of all contractors and employees.

  

  • Provide orientation and onboarding support for new employees and contractors at all levels, including medical staff, clinical staff, certified peer specialists, and paraprofessionals 
  • Ensure all onboarding and training meet DBHDD requirements and are completed within required time frames to minimize billing discrepancies. 
  • Deliver day-to-day coaching and support for staff as they transition to respective teams. 
  • Monitor and manage Relias training assignments and transcripts to ensure compliance with deadlines. 
  • Coordinate and deliver all onboarding requirements within 60 days of hire. 
  • Develop and deliver provider-based training for  paraprofessional and clinical student/trainees. 
  • Plan and manage the annual training calendar for contractors and employees, ensuring compliance with DBHDD training topics. 
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all training in personnel files. 
  • Assist in preparation for internal and external quality reviews  
  • Collaborate with other training coordinators and HR staff across the foundation. 
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Specialist and Clinical Director to integrate quality standards into training programs, ensuring that content and delivery align with organizational quality goals.
  • Participate in state DBHDD meetings regarding training requirements. 
  • Maintain part time caseload, meeting client care expectations


Additionally, the right Training Coordinator candidate will have experience with Time and Priority Management, Employee Development/Coaching; Continuous Learning; Self Starting; Understanding Others. 


This is a full-time position.

Requirements

The requirements for the  Training  Coordinator :

  • A Master’s Degree is preferred or a bachelor’s degree with three years of human service experience. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be of good character and supportive of the standards, policies, and program ideals of GVF.
  • Must be able to pass a drug and background screens, and be insurable/bondable by the GVF insurance carrier.
