Manager Forecasting-SWHR
Provide regular reporting and financial analysis to leadership to allow for them to provide strategic and financial advice when working with consulting actuaries to develop and utilize actuarial models, analyze healthcare cost and utilization data, complete actuarial calculations, and implement software solutions.
Maintain a working relationship with peers in the Data Analytics and Finance teams to ensure accuracy in reporting and validation across payor reported files. Also, will support the forecasting and financial reporting of all value-based care contracts. Including but not limited to quality/RAF performance, shared savings(loss), and validation of all dollars shared between the various external parties.
Help create and maintain policies and best practices, to ensure accuracy and completeness. In addition to ensuring compensation models and practices are effective, enforced timely, and compliant and aligned with leaderships strategic objectives.

Design and support standardization of reports using multiple external data sets. Meet with functional teams to outline the requirements and level of support needed. And assess complexity of tasks and projects and develop timeline and scope documents.

Follow guidance of Director for standards of reporting, outcomes, and peer reviewing methodologies. And perform validation process of report or model requirements. 10%
Bachelor's Degree Math, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related field Req
Experience
5 Years Progressively responsible, related experience to include at least one (1) year of supervisory capacity Req
Experience with database applications (e.g. Access, SAS/SQL.VBA) Pref
Experience with dashboard/reporting applications (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) Pref
Skills
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects and tasks.
Computer proficient, intermediate to advanced excel skills and proficiency with spreadsheets.
Ability to creatively solve problems.
Ability to organize information and draw logical conclusions.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, and organizational talents.
Must have a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to contribute to an analytical team.
Strong background in healthcare economics, actuarial science, or healthcare finance.
Expertise in SQL, SAS, R, Python, or other data tools for claims analysis.
Deep understanding of value-based care models (capitation, bundled payments, shared savings/risk).
Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
