Business Development Manager – Commercial Maintenance SEQ Trade en Ppg

An opportunity for a Business Development Manager is currently available in our Commercial team based in Brisbane reporting to the State Commercial Manager.

Your outstanding service provision will secure sales growth in the Commercial market segments and you will take a proactive position with targeted key decision influencers in the specification market. Clients will include Strata Managers, Builders, Project Managers, Interior Designers and other bodies that have a focus on facility managed commercial property. You will look to grow our existing valued customer base by delivering end to end coatings project services package. You will achieve this by ensuring influential relationships between the wider sales team and key customer contacts in the delivery of commercial projects.

Principal Accountabilities

• Secure the sales, profit, and growth targets with facility managers and other bodies that have a focus on commercial property management.
• Develop the customer service proposition to support the brand strategy.
• You will look to grow our existing valued customer base by delivering end-to-end coatings project services package.
• Achieve by ensuring influential relationships between the wider sales team and main customer contacts in the delivery of commercial projects.
• Ensure a position with targeted main decision influencers in the specification market. Clients will include facility managers, and other bodies that have a focus on commercial property management.
• Implement specification / sales strategies to achieve both long- and short-term goals.
• Perform the role following PPG corporate values.

Requirements

• Track record in sales or as business development manager from a similar industry.
• Experience in architectural coatings, specification services, or commercial building segments.
• 1+ year experience with understanding of the commercial drivers and changing needs within the market.
• Demonstrate a desire for identifying new opportunities and results and to improve your business segment.
