We currently have an exceptional career opportunity for a Full Time Service Coordinator to join our team at Lebanon Pines in Lebanon, CT. The Service Coordinator promotes engagement and retention in treatment and facilitates an effective discharge plan whereby the individual successfully connects to the next level of care.

Compensation: $26.19/hour

M-F work schedule

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Completes insurance verification and identifies payment resources, as well as assesses client eligibility for benefits.
  • Depending upon the program, facilitates the medication self-administration process and ensures compliance with the protocol required by the assigned department.
  • For programs without nursing departments, ensures that client medications are available and disposed of at the time of discharge according to the protocol required by the assigned department.
  • Manages any medical, behavioral, emergency, or outside problems quickly and efficiently by helping keep the environment safe and notifying the proper authority as needed.
  • Help answer the telephone, sort and distribute mail.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports, as necessary.

Education and/or Experience: 

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  

Language Skills:  

Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write effective and compelling correspondence to support position and/or recommendations. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to employees, vendors, partners, and stakeholders of the organization.
