To succeed as the Director of Administrative Services, you should have: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred, with 8–10 years of progressively responsible HR/administrative experience, including 3–5 years in senior leadership.Extensive knowledge and solid experience in HR compliance, payroll/benefits administration, multi-program budgeting, contract management, and human services agency leadership.Proven ability to manage co-employment relationships with PEOs, lead RFP production and submission, and handle confidential executive-level information.Technical proficiency in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Adobe, HRIS systems (Insperity, Paylocity), and advanced Excel, with solid project management, organizational, and communication skills.Valid California driver’s license with reliable transportation and willingness to travel to satellite offices and external partner sites as needed. Your responsibilities as the Director of Administrative Services will include: Strategic Leadership & Executive Collaboration: Serve as a senior management team member, guiding organizational strategy, cross-department initiatives, and executive decision-making.Human Resources & Compliance Oversight: Direct full-cycle HR functions, ensure compliance with employment laws, manage employee relations, and maintain alignment with organizational priorities.Payroll & Financial Administration: Oversee payroll processing, budget allocations, and financial compliance, coordinating closely with finance leadership for accurate reporting and forecasting.IT & Systems Management: Lead organizational technology initiatives, including IT systems oversight, vendor relationships, data security, and system integrations.Administrative Operations & RFP Management: Maintain policies, risk management, and internal audits, and lead the end-to-end RFP/bid process to ensure compliance, quality, and timely submissions.
