- Perform system administration duties on Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) suite of applications
- Support systems engineering, maintenance, and operations of cyber capabilities
- Assist in troubleshooting of hardware, software, and capability of the DCO suite of applications
- Conduct functional and connectivity testing to ensure continuing operability
- Comply with organization systems administration standard operating procedures
- Maintain baseline system security according to organizational policies
- Manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment
- Manage system/server resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability
- Monitor and maintain system/server configuration
- Perform repairs on faulty system/server hardware
- Troubleshoot hardware/software interface and interoperability problems
- Install, update, and troubleshoot systems/servers
- Patch network vulnerabilities to ensure information is safeguarded against outside parties
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Technology, or other relevant discipline preferred
- Active DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification with Continuing Education (CE) - (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP,GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP) required
- Must have, or obtain upon hire, an active DoD 8570.01-M CSSP Infrastructure Support certification with Continuing Education (CE) - (CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, CND
Experience:
- 2+ years of general (full-time) work experience
- 6+ months of directly related experience
- Experience with Linux system administration in a DoD environment
- Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) experience
- Experience with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) preferred
- Server Management experience, including deployment, backups, snapshots preferred
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
- Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary: $90,000.00 - 115,000.00
