Day Shift: 6:30 am - 2:30 pm

Evening Shift: 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm

Night Shift: 10:30 pm - 6:30 am

About the Role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at University Heights Health and Living, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our residents in a long-term skilled nursing facility. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to implement care plans and monitor the health status of residents. This position requires compassion, patience, and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our patients. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes the dignity and independence of each resident.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, report any changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
  • Help residents with mobility and physical exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive atmosphere.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a long-term care facility.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
