Outsight’s software solutions track the motion of people and vehicles using 3D LiDAR data.
Operators of transportation hubs like airports and train stations but also sport venues, road infrastructures and industrial sites can now access accurate and anonymous Spatial Intelligence data, in order to improve operations and increase user safety and satisfaction.
Our international team of scientists and engineers drive the development of our solutions from Paris, San Francisco, Sophia-Antipolis (Nice) & Hong Kong. To support our global outreach, we also operate a commercial office in Spain.
You can find below an interesting link about who we are and what we do :
Our Passenger Flow Traffic Monitoring solution is trusted by the world’s leading airports and train stations across four continents, including the most renowned hubs celebrated for their operational excellence and exceptional passenger experience. We also deploy our solutions in other markets such as Tourism, Retail and Sports.
Additionally, our Car Traffic Remote Monitoring product is trusted by several Tier 1 customers, including BMW.
Position Overview
Outsight’s SHIFT SaaS product is designed to run in a multi-tenant cloud environment, where each customer may have dedicated resources or shared components in a centralized architecture. Managing software delivery and monitoring in such an environment requires strong automation, tenant-aware observability, and scalable DevOps practices.
Currently, application deployment and monitoring are evolving toward a fully automated CI/CD pipeline approach. In addition, the observability of customer resources, must be designed to ensure visibility, security, and performance.
The intern will contribute to the design and development of CI/CD pipelines and monitoring frameworks to support the SHIFT SaaS model in a multi-tenant context. The project will include:
Enhancing GitLab pipelines (and/or cloud-native pipelines) to handle lift-and-shift processes and continuous deployments.
Building observability stacks using Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki, capable of either tenant-isolated monitoring or a centralized monitoring approach.
Exploring the integration of cloud-native monitoring services (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Managed Grafana) with other tools.
This internship is ideal for a student passionate about Kubernetes, automation, CI/CD, and monitoring, and who wants to gain hands-on experience in solving real SaaS multi-tenant challenges.
Responsibilities
Design and implement enhancements to CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, AWS-native pipelines) for SaaS deployments.
Manage and enhance Kubernetes deployments using YAML files, Helm packages and ArgoCD pipelines.
Build and configure observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, etc.) for tenant-specific or centralized monitoring.
Explore and integrate cloud-native monitoring services with third-party tools.
Document the architecture, implementation, and outcomes of the project in a structured report.
Requirements for the role
How to design and implement CI/CD pipelines for SaaS products in multi-tenant environments.
Best practices for observability and monitoring across tenant-isolated or centralized models.
Running and scaling workloads on Kubernetes in hybrid cloud environments.
Hands-on work with Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and cloud-native monitoring services.
Exposure to real-world SaaS delivery challenges.
What you will learn?
Best practices in AWS cloud infrastructure management.
End-to-end deployment of hybrid cloud solutions.
Real-world experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation pipelines.
Exposure to Kubernetes and platform integration.
