POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Operations Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the sales team by managing essential operational tasks, including preparing quotes, creating product lists, organizing samples, and assisting with quarterly sales reporting. This role is integral to ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales operations.
Key Responsibilites
Create quotes in Excel worksheet to include product, operational, logistical and any pertinent costs and develops final quote for customers in approved Company format.
Research and evaluate daily market reports and trends, Meat Buyers Guide and industry related articles, to enhance knowledge base and identify product pricing factors.
Strategize on protein requirements and initiate timely purchases for commodity raw materials for future sales by utilizing market trend information, sales history and staff knowledge at Richmond Wholesale.
Capitalize on any daily market opportunities that would lead to growth in sales.
Analyze vendor product lines to determine the best value for branding opportunities.
Analyze logistics options and industry comparisons to lead to more effective processes.
Utilize job knowledge to resolve problems and suggest strategic sales opportunities.
Create and maintain monthly Manufacturers’ Pricing Agreement (MPA) and other internal price lists for streamlined order generation.
Investigate and resolve price discrepancies when needed.
Update new NAPA NSN numbers and allowances. Maintain proper storage of documents received from DLA.
Assisting with sending samples and preparing paperwork for Sales Team.
Strictly adhere to Richmond Wholesale’s employment policies, departmental operating policies and all federal and state regulatory and compliance laws pertaining to our business and industry.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Education: The position requires a High School diploma and two years or more of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Experience: Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel skills required.

Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to convey clear, well-articulated information.
Ability to understand, speak, and write grammatically correct English in order to convey messages and correspond articulately and professionally.
Possess public communication skills that allow professional representation of Richmond Wholesale to a variety of business, government and community customers and associates.
Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and have consistent and disciplined follow through.

Must be able to work under stress, presenting a calm professional demeanor at all times.
Physical and Sensory
Frequently required to sit for extended periods to perform deskwork or type on a keyboard.
Regularly required to hear and speak to communicate orally effectively.
Required to stand, walk, and climb stairs to move about the facilities.
Handle materials, reach overhead, kneel or stoop in order to conduct business.
