  • Our Adviser business provides financial planning solutions and technology for UK financial advisers, enabling them to create value for their customers.

  • Our investments business is a specialist asset manager that focuses on areas where we have both strength and scale to capitalise on the key themes shaping the market, through either public markets or alternative asset classes.

About the department

The Digital Workplace Engineering team is a key capability within the Digital Workplace Services function. The team works collaboratively across the Group COO, business stakeholders, CoEs & Product Owners.  It is responsible for the creation and delivery of our Digital Workplace technology roadmap, maintaining a modern, secure and cost-efficient service. We are passionate about enhancing colleague experience and delivering an evergreen service to our business. 

About the role

The Digital Workplace Adoption & Enablement Partner is responsible for driving the adoption and enablement of digital workplace technologies across Aberdeen, to improve employee proficiency, engagement, and productivity. This is a high-profile role within the company, and the enablement partner will feel confident working and building relationships across the business, blending stakeholder engagement with operational delivery, focusing on tools such as Microsoft 365, Copilot, and Power Automate.

The role works closely with technical leads, business service leads (HR, L&D, corporate communications), IT colleagues, and business stakeholders. It also collaborates with CoEs architecture to ensure enablement efforts are strategically aligned and technically informed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Engagement

    • Partner with IT, HR, L&D, and business units to understand workflows and digital tool usage needs.

    • Facilitate feedback loops between employees and technical product teams to inform continuous improvement.

    • Represent digital workplace initiatives in onboarding sessions, team meetings, and cross-functional forums.

  • Operational Enablement Delivery

    • Coordinate and deliver enablement campaigns including webinars, drop-in sessions, and “Ask the Expert” events.

    • Develop and maintain enablement resources such as guides, videos, and in-app content.

    • Monitor and adapt enablement materials based on usage patterns and employee feedback.

    • Working closely with strategic partners e.g. Microsoft, to leverage their expertise. collateral and services

  • Technical Enablement

    • Support employees in developing proficiency in adopted tools (e.g. M365, Copilot, Power Automate).

    • Maintain awareness of configuration features and platform capabilities to inform enablement efforts.

    • Deliver enablement sessions and facilitate continuous learning opportunities.

    • Foster and lead a business champions' network built around M365 and Copilot

  • Adoption Metrics & KPIs

    • Measure and report on application adoption, engagement, and proficiency across departments.

    • Establish baselines and track progress against KPIs related to employee satisfaction, productivity, and business outcomes.

    • Identify and manage goals and metrics to demonstrate the impact of enablement activities.

  • Strategic Collaboration

    • Work closely with the architecture team to ensure enablement efforts are aligned with enterprise strategy and technical roadmaps.

    • Provide input into strategic planning and guidance documents to support long-term digital workplace evolution.
