We are seeking a highly experienced Creative Producer to join The Paper Store Creative Team. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in producing high-quality photo and video shoots, managing budgets and timelines, managing an extensive library of samples, and collaborating with Marketing, Creative, and Buying teams to produce exceptional visual content. The Creative Producer will be solely responsible for the successful, on budget completion of each shoot, including but not limited to photography, videography, bookings for campaigns, lifestyle, e-commerce, social, lookbook and editorial shoots. 

The Creative Producer reports directly into the Creative Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be a TPS brand ambassador 
  • Collaborate with the creative and marketing team to plan, develop, and ensure successful and on-budget execution of the creative concept for each photoshoot.
  • Source and hire models, hair and makeup artists, stylists, and other crew members as required for each photoshoot, negotiating rates as needed.
  • Develop and maintain great relationships with modeling agencies, models, hair and makeup artists, and stylists. Source new vendors as needed.
  • Coordinate all shoot related logistics, including location scouting, detailed shot lists, crew call times, travel arrangements, crew meals, equipment rentals, and other on-site needs.
  • Negotiate contracts, fees, and usage rights with talent and vendors.
  • Ensure that all necessary permits and legal requirements are obtained before each photoshoot.
  • Manage the full crew team on set, ensuring that all elements of the photoshoot run smoothly and efficiently. 
  • Help source, purchase, and organize all studio props, surfaces, backdrops, wardrobe, and sets.  
  • Maintain and maximize current budgets while developing future budgets providing regular updates to the Art Director and Creative Director.
  • Actively take part in creative discussions to help provide budget-conscious, creative solutions that can be seamlessly executed.
  • Assess the urgency of requests and make informed decisions that support business needs and objectives while maintaining proper balance with studio schedules.
  • Increase efficiency by improving and implementing production workflows
  • Create and maintain a Monday.com calendar to track project timelines and statuses for studio
  • Collaborate with the Art Director, Photographer, and Buyers from project brief to final delivery, ensuring clear communication and distribution of deliverables to teams.
  • Ensure social and digital media content is being considered for each shoot (video/photography) and it’s worked into the timeline, budget, and shot lists.
  • Complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with the merch coordinator to ensure seamless merch logistics and sample management for each shoot
  • Develop and shepherd clear GTM process with with marketing, creative and buying teams 
  • Improve shooting cadence to reduce team burnout
  • Improve asset management with clear guidelines 
  • Develop clear documentation around processes, costs and standards
  • Coordinate image editing with internal and external teams to ensure timely delivery 
  • Research and propose processes and tools for efficiency
  • Develop and maintain studio calendar 
  • Ensure timely intake marketing planning forms
  • Update marketing planning forms to be reflective of shoot deliverables
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by direct supervisor and senior leadership. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • College degree preferred in marketing, business, communications, or closely related subject or equivalent job experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a photoshoot producer in the retail industry with a solid understanding of apparel and product retailing in a print and digital landscape.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and schedules for photoshoots.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently of others, demonstrating resourcefulness, accountability, and outstanding attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with talent and vendors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to interact professionally with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn how to navigate various software programs and platforms. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook).
  • This job will have physical demands, including an ability to lift up-to 30lbs and to bend, reach, kneel, squat, or stand for long periods of time.
  • Travel is required as part of this role with occasional weekends or away-travel for shoots/events.
  • Ability to work 5 days a week at the Corporate Office in Acton, MA.
