The Recruitment Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the organisation is fully staffed for peak seasonal periods. We’re seeking a flexible and organised Recruitment Coordinator to support our team on a casual basis. This hybrid role is mainly Monday - Friday, with some evenings and weekends as required. This casual position serves as a key liaison between the Human Resources department and Operations Team helping to coordinate the recruitment and onboarding processes for a high volume of seasonal hires.
The coordinator is responsible for managing the flow of candidates through the hiring pipeline, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and maintaining compliance with all relevant hiring practices and company policies.
This role demands strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. The Recruitment Coordinator must be proactive and adaptable. Additionally, this individual will help monitor workforce levels and support efforts to ensure new casual workers are properly onboarded, trained and scheduled.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support talent acquisition strategies by identifying new sourcing channels, enhancing recruitment processes, and helping to attract a diverse and skilled pool of event workers.
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding journey for new casual workers, including reviewing applications, video interviews, recruitment days and admin duties.
- Monitor compliance and licensing requirements for casual workers, supporting accreditation, right-to-work documentation, and other regulatory checks.
- Contribute to workforce analytics, tracking attendance, performance trends, and staff compliance to drive data-informed staffing decisions.
- General administration requirements.
Requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
- GCSE in Maths and English level C or equivalent.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of staffing and recruitment platforms such as Ubeya and workable.
- Experience in Human Resources, Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience in industries such as retail, logistics, hospitality, or events.
