Strategies to Empower People is hiring a full-time Weekend Supervisor for Supported Living Services! This position works directly with the Intellectually and/or Developmentally Disabled (I/DD) adults our agency serves and provides ongoing supervision, training, and development for the direct support staff that work with our clients in the Placer County area!

WHAT IS THE JOB?
The Weekend Supervisor is responsible for providing support for the disabled adults we serve in Placer County as well as providing supervision to direct support staff.
This position operates during a set schedule of Friday 10 p.m. until Monday at 8 a.m. This shift includes three overnight asleep shifts in the field. This is NOT a work-from-home position! The Weekend Supervisor will be stationed in the homes of our clients during both the daytime and overnight portions of their shift.
The Weekend Supervisor provides shift coverage, training and feedback for our support staff as well as hands-on support and quality assurance visits for the people we serve. This position is also responsible for representing our agency in hospital and medical settings - when our clients have 911 emergencies or ER visits the Weekend Supervisor is responsible for communicating with medical professionals, advocating for our clients' needs, and completing accurate and detailed documentation.
This position is the link between our weekday supervisory team and what happens during the weekend!
SCHEDULE
The Weekend Supervisor position is an hourly role that operates Friday from 10 p.m. until the following Monday at 8 a.m.
The rate of pay for this position ranges from $20 per hour to $21 per hour. The Weekend Supervisor fulfills a 58-hour shift from Friday 10 p.m. until Monday at 8 a.m., which means that this position has 40 hours paid at a rate from $20 per hour to $21 per hour with 18 hours of overtime pay built into each weekend shift.
LOCATION
This position operates in Placer county and can access our Roseville location as needed during regular business hours. Our Roseville office is located at 730 Sunrise Avenue, Ste. 200, Roseville, 95661.
This is not an office position! The Weekend Supervisor works the entirety of their shift in the field at the homes of the clients we support in Placer County!
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The Weekend Supervisor is a position that requires both experience supervising other individuals as well as having extensive experience working in the Social Services field!
This role requires at least two (2) years of experience working with individuals who have Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD population). A solid understanding of this population and its needs is a HUGE requirement - you need to understand and respect the population we serve!
This position also requires at least one (1) year of supervisory and budgetary/finance experience in a related field. This means supervising staff, NOT supervising individuals with disabilities! (Two years of experience providing In-Home Support Services is NOT considered supervision!)
And last but not least: COMPUTER AND DRIVING SKILLS! Like any job we require the use of standard electronics, computer and database systems. We provide training on the platforms we use, so aptitude with using different systems is necessary for success as well as maintaining professional communication both verbal and written/typed.
Being a licensed and insured driver is necessary for this role, which includes having a clean driving record (no excessive points, and no DUIs/wet-and-reckless in the past 10 years). We provide mileage reimbursement at a rate of $.70 per mile.
