Job Description:
Billing Supervisor
The Billing Supervisor is responsible for direct oversight of the billing team’s functions and responsibilities. The primary objective for this role is to oversee the billing processes, manage, train and mentor the billing representatives to ensure accurate and timely billing operations to maximize revenue and cash flow for the organization. Monitoring, analysis and auditing our accounts and billing representatives’ performance to ensure they align with Billing guidelines/practices and payer requirements
- Supervise team of billing specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of billing processes.
- Strong leadership and supervising skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

- Review, analyze and audit billing data, adjustments, and reports to identify any discrepancies or errors, taking appropriate actions to resolve them.
- Collaborate with other departments, insurance companies and external vendors to ensure that special billing processes are aligned with overall business objectives and organization satisfaction goals.
- Monitor and audit client accounts, ensuring that all billing records are up to date and accurately reflect the services provided.
- Prepare and present regular reports to Revenue Cycle Director on billing activities, financial performance, and any issues or opportunities for improvement.
- Train and mentor billing specialists, providing ongoing support and professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ongoing communication with the Revenue Cycle Director of any detectable trends and/or procedural problems impacting on the day-to-day operations of the billing staff along with recommended plans of action.
- Monitor and assist as backup to Billing Analyst daily functions.
- Provide ongoing staff feedback to Revenue Cycle Director to support employee development.
- Follow and embrace all AllHealth Network policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as required within the scope of the position, experience, education, and ability of the employee.
Pay:
$68,500 - 73,000
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- AllHealth Network does not employ former or current clients or family members of clients receiving treatment at any AllHealth Network facilities.
- Full Revenue Cycle experience and understanding. Minimum of 3 years or related experience
- Must have the ability to demonstrate competency in all aspects of billing with prior audit and trainer experience.
- Minimum of three to five years of related experience to include use of computers (i.e, Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of SmartCare and claims clearinghouse or related Electronic Health records.
- Effective communication and people skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines and organizational skills.
- Must have the ability to manage and execute multiple complex projects.

- Interact with clinical staff and clients to ensure accuracy of client’s accounts.

- Advanced Excel skills required
