Position Summary: Under general supervision is responsible for editing electronic data supplied by the customer to meet manufacturing specs. Edits customer-supplied data on CAM software to create panel data that is usable for all manufacturing processes. This includes, but is not limited to, AOI, Drill, Rout, Test and Artwork data. Updates data to current manufacturing specifications or to customer revision changes. Modifies tooling if problems exist. Re-outputs production tooling according to manufacturing needs.

 

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the printed circuit industry and 2 years as a CAM operator. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

Required Skills:

 

General:

1.      Must be able to understand customer drawings and specifications

2.      Must be able to perform job with little or no supervision.

3.      Must be able to cooperate and communicate effectively with staff in all departments and with supervisors and management.

4.      Must be able to follow company systems and procedures. 

 

Responsibilities:

1.      Accurately tool a job on company CAM system.

2.      Provide all NC data required for manufacturing.

3.      Use Company job movement software.

4.      Generate data required by ET department

5.      Follow department schedules

6.      Verify customer prints pertaining to tooling.

7.     Safely modify customer data when required.
