POSITION OVERVIEW:

  • This position supports the work of our commercial lending team and consumer lending team. Additionally, this position is responsible for branch cash related general ledgers, vault custodian and customer transaction processing
  • Home office will be in Eagan, MN
  • Training will be in Roseville, mileage for training will be compensated until the Eagan location opens (estimated for November 1, 2025)
  • No work from home capabilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – Loan Servicing Specialist I:

  • Loan servicing Inbox – Monitor and clear on your assigned day(s)
  • Mail – Upload insurance certificates to synergy and update ticklers
  • Manage and monitor monthly insurance list
  • Transaction Entry
  • Wires Outgoing – Create wire and key entry
  • Wires Incoming – Key entries
  • Key loan advance/construction draw requests from Lender/customer
  • Key loan payment requests from Lender/customers
  • Key Loan payment reversals
  • Processing participation payments and advance requests
  • Print and process cashier check requests
  • Loan file servicing
  • Create Fed Ex labels
  • Create amortization schedules
  • Create new loan files
  • Lien holder cards scan, file and mark received on Post Closing Doc List (PCDL)
  • Set up AFT/ACH on SilverLake
  • Book New Loans/Mods (LV, Core Boarding and/or manually)
  • Book Participated loans and Letters of Credit loans (manually)
  • Perform note reviews on new loans and Mods in a timely manner
  • Prepare and file UCC documentation, File UCC terminations and continuations
  • Manage paid loan process – loan payoff and collateral release
  • Miscellaneous
  • Monitor morning reports
  • Update Treasury rates on loans and CD’s (Daily)
  • Address changes on loans
  • Create payoff letters
  • Non-Accrual loans (adding to non-accrual status and removing from non-accrual status).
  • Providing customers with loan billing and tax statements
  • Submit cases to Jack Henry
  • Balancing GL’s
  • Customer Due Diligence (Daily)
  • Investor Remittance (Daily)
  • SBA GL (Weekly)
  • Construction/Repair (Weekly)
  • EIP Balancing (Daily)
  • WiP Balancing (Daily)
  • Assist customers, lenders, portfolio managers and credit analyst with customer service activities including responding to calls and email request, researching discrepancies and resolving issues

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – Account Service Representative (ASR) I:

  • Process routine everyday customer transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, night drop, customer requests etc.
  • Act in vault custodian capacity, responsible for daily reconciliation and cash management of branch cash
  • Sell and order cash via the Fed for the branch to ensure the cash flow is adequate and within cash limits
  • Reconcile cash drawer daily by counting and verifying remaining cash totals to system totals and resolving discrepancies, reporting any unfound discrepancies within guidelines to management
  • Reconcile out-of-balance situations regarding GLs, vault and teller cash drawers and report discrepancies immediately to management within guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with all Bank policies and procedures


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Jack Henry experience preferred
  • Knowledgeable of loan documents, perfecting collateral etc.
  • Demonstrated proficient oral and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, plus a working knowledge of rules, regulations and policies relating to loan operations
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while delivering quality results
  • Ability to work effectively with limited supervision under tight deadlines, ambiguity, shifting priorities and rapid change

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required; college degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of Commercial and/or SBA loan administration and documentation experience
