Position Summary:

Under general supervision this position is responsible to manage the enterprise-wide training cycle of the Physical Security Training programs to support learning solutions and to improve the teammate knowledge and skills that is aligned with enterprise-wide strategic goals, and initiatives. Ensures training program are in compliance with pertinent Federal, State, and Local laws. Provides leadership by delivering program objectives. Responsible for continuous process improvement. Partnering with business leaders and other related teams.

 

Compensation: $65k-$75k

Responsibilities:

You will conduct the following responsibilities, upholding Tarian’s commitment to safety and security while supporting the values and culture of the client and community.

  • Manages the enterprise-wide training cycle of the Physical Security Training programs to support learning solutions and to improve the teammate knowledge and skills that is aligned with enterprise-wide strategic goals and initiatives.
  • Provides leadership by delivering program objectives, including continuous process improvement.
  • Partners with business leaders and other related teams.
  • Manages training programs in compliance with Tarian policies
  • Manages oversight of teammate training calendar in-line with business compliance needs that meets strategic goals and initiatives.
  • Maintains the training programs plans to provide training at regular intervals to maintain training compliance.
  • Partners with Ops Ex Managers on training programs to ensure compliance across Tarian.
  • Identifies gaps and assess ongoing training requirements based on customer feedback, contractual requirements, industry best practices, regulatory requirements, quality metrics, and business needs.
  • Keeps abreast of compliance risk which includes monitoring federal, state, and local laws to ensure compliance with policy, process, licensing, and training
  • Manages documentation of quality standards and expectations for sites
  • Collaborates to ensure organization-wide processes to collect information about deficiencies and opportunities for improvement in process application.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
  • Must be a Certified Instructor through DCJS
  • Previous Law Enforcement Officer experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Education, Human Resources or a directly related field, and five (5) years of related responsible experience planning, development, conducting professional training or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Obtain/maintains valid Driver’s License and meet company driving standards.
Knowledge of:
  • Federal, State and Local applicable laws.
  • Principle and practices and development of employee training programs.
  • Possess a clear understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design, and principles of effective communication.
  • Latest training resources.
  • Highly proficient with products to include office computers, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and training systems.
  • Proficiency with fax machines, calculators, printers, copiers, and other standard office machines.
Skill in:
  • Developing, managing, and implementing training programs for adult learners.
  • Building collaborative relations with all levels of the organizations.
  • Resolving issues.
  • Coordinating, implementing, and managing multiple projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization and with outside partners.
