HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE…

You will be a key member of our cost savings program, working with the Controller and a lot of the financial leads across the organization.  This role and program initiative have high visibility to the financial leadership team. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO…
Primary responsibilities for the Associate Finance Manager are to provide financial management and analytical support to the VP FP&A, Sr Director FP&A, CFO, and Corporate Controller. They will have ownership over the tracking and financial projections for the Enterprise Savings program, as well as related restructuring costs, capital, and savings.  This position will establish, maintain, and enhance a body of Corporate and Enterprise processes to ensure accurate external financial reporting. 

(50%) Restructuring & Enterprise Cost Savings Programs

  • Responsible for assembling actual costs and projections for one-time restructuring events/projects and Enterprise cost savings initiatives for quarterly SEC disclosures; performing ad hoc analysis/assessment as needed to ensure appropriate forecast and disclosure
  • Partner with stakeholders throughout Campbell’s to aggregate information, ensure restructuring-related severance transactions are recorded accurately and timely, as well as ensure appropriate governance of balance sheet reserves at local level
  • Responsible for the accounting and reconciliation of US Restructuring reserves and related items

(20%) Corporate Business Unit

  • Support consolidation process for enterprise month-end close; including reconciliation of total company legal and management results
  • Assist with preparation of Corporate Business Unit P&L for monthly actual results, monthly projections, AOP, and Strat Plan; including assessment of risks & opportunities, analysis of key drivers and issuance of monthly reporting package (actual and projection) and related communications
  • Assemble, analyze, and input all normalizing one-time items (Management to Legal financial statements, i.e., restructuring charges, impairments, etc.) to determine adjusted financial results and prepare for quarterly Non-GAAP reconciliation reporting
  • Evaluate unallocated corporate expenses and execute quarterly Corporate cost pushdown process for external segment reporting

(10%) Internal and External Reporting

  • Support quarterly disclosure and SEC filings by preparing quarterly P&L bridges (i.e., marketing, selling and administrative expenses), providing analysis to support selected disclosures, drafting non-GAAP reconciliations, and performing MD&A and earnings release drafting
  • Support preparation of templates for various communications such as quarterly earnings release, CFO Investor Update presentation and Employee Forums Prepare supplemental briefing documents as needed to support disclosures and investor Q&A

(10%) Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Reporting

  • Forecast Corporate Business Unit Balance Sheet items and one-time items in support of enterprise Free Cash Flow

(10%) Other Corporate Deliverables and Support of Ad Hoc Requirements/Special Projects

  • Provide critical subject matter guidance on management Profit Center changes; a key liaison with Reporting COE and Financial Systems Team to ensure changes are accurately reflected in Enterprise reporting
  • Provide analytical support for CFO, Investor Relations, Corporate Controller as needed
  • Support corporate initiatives to implement other EPM functionality upgrades (i.e., rounding, 13th period, etc.)
  • Implement improvements and drive process efficiency where necessary

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH…

The Corporate FP&A team along with cross functional partnership with various departments throughout the organization. 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE) 

  • Bachelor degree in accounting/finance or related discipline, plus 4 to 6 years of related experience
  • Excellent systems experience, especially with the Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to multi-task and handle periodic work spikes, especially during quarter-end close
  • Data integrity and attention to detail is paramount
  • Ability to operate effectively in a cross-functional environment
  • Proficiency with or ability to learn and become proficient with financial & operational tools including SAP and EPM10

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE) 

  • Action-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Very strong attention to detail and process while also being extremely efficient
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; high level of professional maturity and ability to articulate views in a clear and concise manner
  • High energy and motivated; independent thinker and thought leader a MUST
  • Preferred experience: Strong knowledge of US GAAP, general budgeting and forecasting; either Divisional or cost center planning

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between 

$85,300-$122,600

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
