Job Description:
Blackstone Real Estate’s Asset Management Sustainability team is seeking an Associate to join the London office. The Associate will support the Global Real Estate Sustainability Team in delivering high-quality data analysis, reporting, and project management across a diverse portfolio of real estate assets.
This position will play a key role in monitoring, consolidating, and distilling sustainability insights across all real estate sectors and strategies, with a focus on Europe and Asia. The position requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Legal & Compliance, Investor Relations, Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Technology, Finance, and Revantage, to produce compelling analytics that inform business decisions and investor communications.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with Real Estate Sustainability team members and Blackstone colleagues globally to support project implementation, reporting, insight generation, and tracking performance of value accretive initiatives across the RE Sustainability program
- Support sustainability data collection and assurance processes across Europe and Asia, interfacing with portfolio companies to ensure that reporting meets the highest standards of accuracy, relevance and strategic impact
- Synthesize to produce clear, data-driven presentations that communicate Sustainability program progress and trends to key stakeholders
- Produce accurate external-facing investor deliverables, including responses to investor due diligence questions, presentations and case studies across the real estate portfolio
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive consistency in sustainability data and reporting globally, ensuring adherence to established policies, processes, templates, and controls
- Deliver timely and accurate analyses for ad hoc business needs, leveraging data to support decision-making and to ensure alignment with Sustainability program goals
Qualifications:
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, display sound judgment, and have
a track record of excellence in prior roles. The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years of professional experience in real estate private equity, data analytics, investor relations, consulting, sustainability, or a related field is preferred
- Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation, analysis, and synthesis; strong PowerPoint skills for producing concise, visually compelling presentations
- Prior work experience using analytics and BI tools (e.g., Alteryx, Sigma, Snowflake) is preferred
- Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with a structured approach to problem-solving
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information succinctly
- Proven ability to remain flexible and effective in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
- Comfortable working across time zones and collaborating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders virtually
- Strong work ethic, collaborative mindset, and eagerness to learn
- Highest degree of professional integrity, motivation, and intellectual curiosity
