Description: At Bama, the Quality Coordinator is expected to develop, lead, maintain and support key processes including sensory, capability studies, data analysis, reporting, training, and investigations. The Quality Coordinator contributes to a continuous improvement environment by driving recommended corrective actions through analyzing data with the utilization of statistical tools. The Quality Coordinator is responsible for the development, execution and maintenance of core quality programs to support operations. Position requires direct interaction with suppliers, customers, internal work groups and other Bama Facilities through written and oral communication.

Duties: •Uses statistical methods to develop recommended specifications for products. •Use software programs to accurately document Bama and customer specifications in accordance to equipment and process capability studies. •Must be able to communicate effectively on a technical basis with all internal & external customers as well as suppliers. •Supports response and corrective action on customer complaints. •Supports plant-wide data collection plans to ensure the correct data is measured, accurate processes are utilized, and all data collection plan deviations are addressed.

Qualifications: •Associates Degree or a minimum of 3 years in quality assurance. •Ability to organize, analyze, interpret and report process performance to management and •customers utilizing various software applications, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word. •Strong technical abilities in making detailed observations, analyzing data, interpreting results, and project coordination. •Ability to perform basic mathematical functions as they apply to deriving key statistical computations. •Ability to provide coaching and develop effective training classes to meet required program expectations in both large and small group settings. •Strong verbal and written communication skills including grammar and punctuation as required in preparing documentation. •Ability to work with limited supervision.
