The Role

The Senior Graphic Designer with a focus on Print & Packaging at Ballerina Farm will lead the design of packaging and print materials from concept through to final die-line delivery. This role will play a key part in shaping the retail and event experience, including creative direction, collateral design, and retail environment asset design. In addition, the designer will collaborate with the creative team on digital needs such as Instagram Stories, Substack graphics, infographics, Meta ads, and website design elements related to retail and events.

At a high level, this role is responsible for upholding and applying our Brand Style Guide to ensure all creative work supports and strengthens the Ballerina Farm storybrand, in partnership with the Director of Brand & Creative.



What You’ll Do

  • Partner with the Director of Brand & Creative to bring retail and event concepts to life. Contribute ideas and visual direction for in-store experiences, event branding, activations, and displays that align with the Ballerina Farm storybrand.
  • Design a wide range of print collateral and ensure all print deliverables are brand-consistent, visually compelling, and produced with accuracy.
  • Own the end-to-end design process for packaging — from ideation and prototyping to final die-line preparation. Work closely with production partners to ensure print quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
  • Create retail and event signage that communicates clearly while elevating the customer experience. Develop both small-scale and large-format graphics and see them through production to delivery.
  • Support on digital creative needs including Instagram Stories, Substack graphics, infographics, Meta ads, email design, and website assets.

 

What You’ll Need 

  • 7+ Years of Graphic Design Experience with an emphasis in print and packaging 
  • Experience designing assets for retail use and events (print, signage, packaging, food collateral, etc..)
  • Extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis in Illustrator, Indesign, After Effects and Photoshop
  • UX/UI Experience in Figma
  • Familiarity with Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and Substack
  • Understanding of die line design, with an emphasis in print packaging and food packaging (CPG food packaging experience being a great bonus)
  • 3-5 Years of Creative Direction experience
  • Extensive knowledge of typography
  • Some experience in illustration
  • Clear communication
  • Timely delivery of assets


How You’ll Succeed

  • One 1:1 call with Director of Brand and Creative each week to align on priorities and deliverables for the week
  • Participation in the following meetings
    • Weekly Brand + Marketing TB
    • Weekly Creative Team Video TB
  • Collaborative ideation and execution of creative assets for 1 Ballerina Farm event per month
  • Five to ten packaging designs for retail per month
  • Five sign designs for retail per month
  • Weekly visit to the retail store location to make sure design needs are being met
  • Timely delivery of packaging design with feedback implemented (provided by the Director of Brand and Creative)
  • Clear communication with Director of Brand and Product on timelines, priorities, and external needs to accomplish the above responsibilities


About the Opportunity

  • This is a full-time position
  • This is a hybrid position, requiring at least three days in-office per week in Midway and/or Kamas, Utah. Wednesdays are a mandatory in-office day in Midway.
