Full-time: 35 hours per week

The School of Health in Social Science is looking for a customer-focused Centre Administrator to join the Operations Team at the Centre for Psychological Therapies and Hope Park Counselling Centre. The Centres provide postgraduate psychological therapies and counselling training to students and therapeutic services to Edinburgh residents.

 

The Opportunity:

 

The post holder will contribute to the provision of high-quality client and student-related administration at The Centre for Psychological Therapies and Hope Park Counselling Centre. Working closely with our Clinical Teams and colleagues from the Operations Team, they will undertake a wide range of administrative duties, provide excellent advice and support to our students and clients, and play a key role in our data management, and internal and external communications. 

 

This post is a full-time (35 hours per week) on campus role. 

 

Your skills and attributes for success: 

  • Experience in a customer-centred environment and excellent communication skills
  • Have a flexible approach to workload and be approachable and helpful.
  • Able to make own decisions and use own initiative referring more complex problems to senior colleagues as appropriate.    
  • Good organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.    
  • Ability to maintain focus and provide efficient service under pressure and in busy environment.
