The IT StoreFront Specialist is responsible for capturing and entering data in spreadsheets/databases, documenting findings, tracking tasks to completion, reporting unusual outcomes of daily tasks to higher level employees, assisting other team members with computer hardware/software tasks, and additional administrative support duties as required.

Below are the major day-to-day tasks that StoreFront Team Members perform:

  • NMCI Computer Deployment 
    • New Computer distribution
    • Exchange with problematic computers (with an associated NMCI Help Desk ticket number)
    • Computer turn-in location for exiting employees
  • Peripheral Distribution
    • Headsets
    • Microphones
    • Cameras
    • Keyboards
    • Mice
  • Handle New Employee Check In (Civilian and CSS)
    • Computer, Keyboard, Mouse, Headset, Microphone, Camera, Keyboard, etc.
    • Assist in ensuring new accounts are functional
  • Technology Refreshment
    • Assist with the technology refreshment of NMCI laptops/desktops for all NMCI users aboard Patuxent River
    • Assist customers with the Tech Refresh process
    • Ensure customers understand the operation of any new equipment

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Clearance Required: Secret
  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of experience
    • An Associate’s and 2 additional years, or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree will be considered
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software
  • Written/oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft products - Outlook, Excel, Word, TEAMS
  • Strong attention to detail of identified data elements
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
  • Strong work ethic, commitment to producing optimum results for each given task
  • Willingness to pitch in and help with whatever task is needed to get the job done

The proposed salary for this position is:
$52,300$78,400 USD
