Live Receiving -3rd shift en Cooper Farms

Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for 85 years. A commitment to teamwork and quality has made us one of the top turkey, hog and egg companies in the U.S. and awarded the company and its team an excellent reputation.  Our St. Henry Processing plant in Mercer County, Ohio, prepares the turkeys for further processing and distribution.  Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 3rd shift shift Live Receiver to join our team in St. Henry. 

SHIFT HOURS: Sunday through Thursday 9:30pm-5:30am

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $19.30 with a potential increase to $20.80 after 90 days

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided for this entry level position.  Job functions include:

• Making sure all turkeys are handled with proper care and technique.
• Cleaning all trailers to standards set by the turkey division. Do all jobs using techniques recommended by foreman or supervisor.
• Obeying all company, state, and federal laws.
• Reporting all maintenance problems to group leader immediately.
• Assisting in all other jobs efficiently when not working in the hanging area
