Job Overview

2nd shift  M-T 4pm to 2:30pm with Mandutory overtime when needed on fridays and saturdays

 

We are seeking a versatile and dedicated Manufacturing Support Specialist to join our team. This dual-role position involves critical tasks in both the fiberglass cutting and rebar departments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the casting process by preparing fiberglass materials and assisting in the efficient delivery and assembly of rebar products. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, physical work environment and are committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

A Day In The Life

Key Responsibilities: Fiberglass Cutting:

  • Cut and trim fiberglass promptly according to production requirements.
  • Ensure all necessary fiberglass cuts are made for shift production by reading daily schedules and open orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area, preparing it for the next shift.
  • Recognize and report any equipment issues to management and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials and cuts.

Rebar Support:

  • Transport to various work areas as needed to support production flow.
  • Assist in cutting rebar, focusing on quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance department processes and overall efficiency.

General Duties:

  • Follow safety procedures and work safely with all tools and equipment.
  • Stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours support).
  • Lift materials weighing up to 35 pounds for fiberglass/rebar.
  • Complete any additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience using tools such as electric Scissors, , chain hoists, tape measures, and rulers (for fiberglass cutting).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to team collaboration and process improvement.
