About the opportunity
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Mission & Formation Lead to join a for-purpose organisation. In this role you will play a pivotal role in collaboratively shaping, guiding, implementing, and evaluating mission and formation programs and resources at Mercy Health.
Duties include:
Develop resources for mission formation that can be used organization wide - for Healthy Ageing, Healthy Services and Support Services.
Develop the theme, focus, and content for prayer and liturgical opportunities
Create and prepare staff formation opportunities
Develop resources to support the Catholic Code of Ethics for Health and Aged Care and other relevant Church documents.

To thrive in this role, you will have:
Expertise in thinking strategically, creating a vision, and providing direction for Mission Leadership in Mercy Health Services.
Proven ability to represent and elevate the profile and impact of Mission Leadership, fostering its development and growth through effective formation initiatives.
In collaboration with Mission Leadership team, plan and develops the theme, focus, and content of the organisation wide mission formation, prayer and liturgical opportunities.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
Post graduate qualifications in Theology/Religious Education/Pastoral Studies, or equivalent
A current Police Record Check
An appreciation of charism in the Catholic tradition and the Mercy Health charism in particular
An understanding of the principles of Catholic health care
Experience in adult faith education and development of education and liturgical resources
