We currently have an opportunity for a Refrigeration Mechanic. Join our Base and Estate Management team based in Cairns and play a key role in the delivery of professional reactive and preventative maintenance deliverables. Reporting to EU Works Manager you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
What You’ll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
Service and repair chillers, BMS and chilled Water systems
Maintain and repair everything from split systems to ducted and package systems as well as ventilation systems
Service and repair commercial refrigeration equipment, including display cabinets, cold/freezer rooms
Act a representative of Downer in all interactions with internal and external contacts
Bring forward ideas and contribute to an innovative team
What You’ll Bring
2 – 5 years post trade experience
Trade qualified Refrigeration Technician (Cert III Refrigeration & Air Conditioning)
Posses a valid, unrestricted driver's license
Current first aid certificate
