The Branch Manager is an integral part of our leadership team. They are responsible for all operations within the store including delivering financial results, managing associate performance, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace through employee engagement and store events. This position will also be responsible for the management of our back-end business including our dispatch and shipping departments, and delivery fleet.
Responsibilities
- Drive Sales by engaging with your sales team and customers directly to identify commercial sales opportunities.
- Work closely with the purchasing team and sales to drive growth
- Engage and motivates team members with energy/optimism, through company vision and effectively promote leadership at all levels
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results and implement business improvements
- Manage the Branch P&L
- Communicate with honesty and integrity, and creates the space for others to do the same
- Lead with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure
- Foster connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships
- Identify new product or market opportunities to expand the business
- Open to continuous improvement and responsible for independent learning
Qualifications
- 5 years management experience in the commercial or industrial space
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to leverage technology for project management, analysis and solving problems (including Microsoft Office Suite)
- Safety mindset
- Ability to sell technical products
- Undergraduate Degree is an asset
