At Fanatics Commerce, we’re more than just a leader in licensed sports merchandise – we’re a team united by a relentless passion for our fans and a commitment to innovation. We live by our BOLD Leadership principles: We Build Championship Teams, we’re Obsessed with Fans, we embrace a Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit, and we approach every challenge with a Determined and Relentless Mindset. If you’re ready to contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced environment that thrives on collaboration and growth, we want you to be part of our team.

Role overview:

We are looking for a highly organised and ambitious Project Manager to join our International Growth & Strategy team at Manchester HQ. Reporting directly to our VP of Growth & Strategy, this is an exciting time to join Fanatics as we continue to expand our global footprint. The role offers an excellent opportunity for someone eager to accelerate their project management career while gaining exposure to high-impact initiatives across multiple functions of a global business.

Working in close partnership with senior leaders and collaborating across teams including Retail, eCommerce, Product, Legal, Finance, and Marketing, you will play an active role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of key initiatives that drive Fanatics’ international growth. From onboarding new partners and supporting new market entry strategies to contributing to high-profile global events, you will be instrumental in ensuring projects are executed seamlessly and aligned with the organisation’s long-term objectives.

How you will make an impact:

  • Project Coordination & Delivery: Take ownership of coordinating multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and objectives are met. Support international projects including onboarding new partners, delivering retail activations, and expanding into new markets, while identifying and escalating risks early to maintain project momentum.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with global and regional teams across Retail, eCommerce, Product, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Business Development. Ensure all stakeholders are aligned, informed, and engaged at every stage of the project lifecycle, helping to break down silos and encourage knowledge sharing across the organisation.
  • Business Development Support: Provide operational and analytical support to the Business Development team by preparing research, market analysis, presentations, and commercial trackers. Assist in the evaluation of potential growth opportunities, helping to create the foundation for informed decision-making at senior levels.
  • Data, Tools & Tracking: Maintain and improve project trackers, dashboards, and documentation to provide clear visibility of project progress. Ensure all projects are tracked against key milestones, budgets, and success criteria, using tools such as Excel, Monday.com, Asana, or Smartsheet.
  • Reporting & Insights: Prepare and present concise project updates, reports, and recommendations to senior leaders. Translate project progress into actionable insights, highlighting dependencies, risks, and opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a reliable point of contact for both internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring effective communication and follow-up. Support in building strong relationships that enhance collaboration and support long-term strategic objectives.
  • Problem-Solving & Initiative: Proactively identify potential challenges, propose solutions, and support course-correction to keep projects on track. Demonstrate flexibility and resilience when responding to evolving business needs and priorities.
  • Event & Market Support: Provide hands-on support at international events and market activations where required, ensuring operational excellence and successful project delivery on the ground.

What you bring to the team:

  • 1–3 years’ relevant experience in project management, operations, or business support, ideally within retail, E-commerce, or consumer goods, with a proven ability to deliver results in a commercial environment
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing business needs and stakeholder demands.
  • Strong technical capability, with confident use of Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and dashboards) and familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, or Smartsheet to support planning, reporting, and collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to present clearly, influence effectively, and build trusted relationships with colleagues at all levels and across multiple geographies.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail, capable of interpreting data, identifying trends, and translating insights into actionable recommendations that support decision-making.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented, demonstrating initiative, resilience, and the confidence to challenge and propose new ideas to improve ways of working.
  • High levels of curiosity, drive, and ownership, with enthusiasm to learn and grow while taking responsibility for delivering projects in a fast-paced, global environment.

At Fanatics, we value transparency and honesty. If you don’t meet every single requirement, that’s okay – we still want to hear from you! We believe in the power of diverse experiences and talents. If you’re excited about the role and confident that you can contribute, don’t hesitate to apply. We’re genuinely interested in how your unique skills and perspective can help us build something amazing together.

Where you’ll work and what’s required:

Based at our Manchester HQ in New Islington, with flexibility to travel internationally as required to support projects, business development initiatives, and retail activations.

What’s in it for you:

Culture: Join a team where you're surrounded by top-tier talent, driven by a shared passion to relentlessly enhance the fan experience. With a focus on collaboration, support, and continuous development, you’ll be empowered to help shape our culture that celebrates both individual and team successes.
