Requirements / Qualifications

Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school, AA/AS degree or higher, 24-semester units of Early Childhood Education/Child Development courses, including *CORE courses, 16-semester units of general education, and 6-semester units of Infant/Toddler Development and Curriculum. Hold or meet eligibility requirements for a Child Development Teacher Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). Two (2) years of training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed in the job description. Only completed applications will be considered. Mark fields that are “not applicable” as “N/A”. *The three (3) CORE courses are Child, Growth, and Development; Introduction to Curriculum; and Child, Family, and Community.

Salary Info

Classified Salary Schedule: Range 56/Step A; $23.57, per hour
