Project Management: Overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resources, and tracking progress to ensure milestones are met. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinating with various teams, including design, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and marketing. Process Development: Designing and documenting manufacturing processes, work instructions, and tooling to ensure efficient production of the new product. Quality Control: Developing and implementing test plans, monitoring test results, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Documentation: Creating and approving product files, Bill of Materials (BOM), and other essential documents for the new product and manufacturing. Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and issues early in the development cycle and developing mitigation plans. Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field2 plus years of experience in manufacturing, process development, or new product introduction (NPI)Solid understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, and assemblyExperience working with contract manufacturers and suppliers in a high-mix, low- to mid-volume production environmentPreferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in a related engineering or technical disciplineExperience launching hardware products in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, automotive, aerospace, or consumer electronics) Solicitar ahora
