You will lead a dedicated team of over 40 early childhood specialists and clinicians, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, family-centered Early Intervention services.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Early Intervention (EI) Core Team discipline, Management or Business Administration.   
  • Five (5) + years of experience in human services and/or management.  
  • Excellent working knowledge of service systems and resources in the communities served.   
  • Experience supervising clinical and support staff.    
  • Understanding/familiarity with Massachusetts Early Intervention philosophy and MA Department of Public Health EI Operational Standards.   
  • Experience working with infants, young children, and their families.    
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. 
  • Must be eligible for MA Early Intervention director and clinical certification and demonstrate an understanding of current EI financing modalities, regulations, and contractual obligations. 
  • Experience working in the MA Early Intervention System is strongly preferred.

 

 

 In addition, demonstration of the following skills and knowledge will be considered in evaluating this position: 

  • Proven leadership ability. 
  • Conceptual and practical understanding of EI financing. 
  • Knowledge and use of computer software (Microsoft Office, Teams, etc.). 
  • Knowledge of Early Intervention services in Massachusetts including service delivery, billing regulations, and IDEA Part C regulations. 
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate complex information and situations. 
  • Ability to supervise and give direction to others, including delegation and follow-up. 
  • Ability to handle conflict, mediate concerns, and facilitate mutually respectful exchange of ideas. 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. 
  • Ability to understand the varied needs of culturally and economically diverse urban and suburban communities and evaluate the quality of various supports/interventions. 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: 

As Program Director, you will play a central role in shaping our work and supporting our community through the following responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong connections with community partners to strengthen collaboration and referral networks.
  • Orchestrate daily operations, ensuring the continued excellence of the program.
  • Lead the charge in program innovation and management, injecting your unique vision and energy into every aspect of our initiatives.
  • Be the guardian of quality and compliance, ensuring that our program meets and exceeds the rigorous standards set by the Department of Public Health, while keeping a finger on the pulse of timely reporting requirements.
  • Act as the primary link between the program, Thom Framingham administration, and the Board of Directors, supporting strategic decision-making and collaboration.
  • Guide and nurture our talented team, providing leadership in personnel management and benefits administration to ensure a thriving, motivated workforce.
  • of Oversee financial management and oversight, navigating the fiscal landscape with finesse and ensuring the responsible allocation of resources.
  • Champion administrative support activities, with a special focus on billing, ensuring seamless operations and maximum efficiency.
  • Oversee the utilization, management, and evolution of our program space, transforming it into a dynamic hub of innovation and community engagement.
