Job Summary:
NEPC is seeking a detail-oriented professional to serve as a primary point of contact for document preparation and review within our OCIO Investment Operations business. This role centers around managing subscription documentation and related legal materials for commingled vehicles, hedge funds, and private market investments. The analyst will work directly with investment managers and administrators to ensure all required documentation is in place for client investments. The analyst will collaborate with internal Legal, Trade Operations, Research, and Consulting teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely execution. This position is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end onboarding for new investment managers, including collection and review of subscription agreements and AML/KYC documentation.
- Partner with Legal, Trade Operations, Research, and Consulting to align workflows and deliver seamless client service.
- Review AML/KYC documentation for accuracy and completeness and coordinate timely resolution of issues.
- Communicate clear and concise updates and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
- Review peer work to maintain accuracy and consistency, contributing to a culture of quality and accountability.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and bring forward solutions that increase efficiency and deliver greater value to clients.
Job Qualifications:
- 2–6 years of experience in a documentation-focused role within financial services, accounting, auditing, asset management, or corporate law.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with investor portals or fund administration platforms a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with proven ability to manage complex documentation in a deadline-driven environment.
- Exposure to commingled vehicles, hedge funds, and/or private equity preferred.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to investor documentation (Subscription Documentation, AML/KYC, FATCA, CRS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-service orientation.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
