As Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the broader Finance leadership team, you will be at the center of the organization's strategic and business planning. You will be relied upon to keep the team organized, on schedule, and aligned with company goals. You must be dependable, highly detail-oriented, and able to keep up with the changing priorities of a high-growth finance function. You must also have the communication skills needed to interact effectively with a variety of people and job functions, including other EAs across Snowflake’s executive leadership team.
This is an in-person role based in Menlo Park 3 days a week
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Effectively manage and maintain complex calendars for the CFO and the Finance leadership team.
Book complex domestic and international travel and manage executive expense reporting.
Create, organize, and maintain team mailing lists, folders, and drives, ensuring document control.
Organize, plan, and execute team events, offsites, and morale activities.
Respond to questions and requests for information by employees and external guests, connecting people with the right resources.
Greet and assist guests (i.e., investors, analysts, executive interview candidates) upon arrival.
Assist with signature routing for critical documents and manage executive mail.
Attend team meetings, assist with day-to-day projects, and help build and improve Finance team processes and systems.
Build efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help define new operational strategies for the CFO’s office.
Serve as a lead for, and manager of programs and projects that support the Finance function.
Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree and 10 + years of relevant work experience (e.g., direct executive support, project management, or event planning experience).
Experience providing support to C-level executives (CFO preferred) in the high-growth technology or financial services industry.
Familiarity with financial terminology and/or supporting functions like Accounting, Investor Relations, or FP&A preferred.
Experience interacting with and supporting boards of directors or board-level committees preferred.
Proven ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize multiple stakeholders, functions, and tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships.
Experience implementing systems, processes, or programs that increase efficiency.
Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to jump into a variety of projects.
Resourceful self-starter that is curious, asks questions, and can make logical, proactive decisions in a high-stakes, demanding environment.
Extreme attention to detail, organized, and responsive.
Generally IT savvy; proficient with Google suite of products (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, etc.).
