Responsibilities:As a Licensed Professional Engineer with State Farm, you will lead and manage a diverse portfolio of projects encompassing electrical engineering, energy systems, controls networking, and environmental compliance. Your expertise will guide the engineering design, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of company facilities, ensuring adherence to rigorous design standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project management and consulting efforts related to electrical systems, energy, controls networking, and environmental affairs.
- Develop, implement, and maintain engineering design standards across company facilities.
- Interpret, prepare, and review construction documents, drawings, and facility plans to support project execution.
- Produce detailed electrical engineering documentation to ensure clarity and compliance.
- Manage and coordinate the activities of external engineering design consultants to align with project goals.
- Collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Conduct thorough inspections and evaluations of facilities to assess condition and compliance.
- Perform electrical engineering, facility, and operational reviews, providing actionable recommendations to Real Estate Agencies, Relationship Management contacts, and Leadership teams.
- Oversee service delivery and property management vendors to verify that facility maintenance supports reliable business operations.
- Prepare accurate electrical engineering construction cost estimates and analyses to support budgeting and planning.
- Provide ongoing support to business partners for the operation and maintenance of electrical engineered systems.
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a strong background in electrical engineering.
- Proven experience in project management, engineering design, and commissioning within industrial or commercial facilities.
- Expertise in electrical systems, energy management, controls networking, and environmental compliance.
- Strong ability to interpret and prepare technical documents and construction plans.
- Excellent leadership and coordination skills, especially in managing external consultants and interdisciplinary teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Effective communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders, including leadership and external partners.

Our Benefits:Because work-life balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week!
- Potential starting salary range: $95,800 - $120,000
- Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
- High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
- Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary
