• Based in Washington, DC. 
• Required to be on-site 1–3 times per week. You must live within driving distance of the DC area.
  

Role Description

The Functional Analyst supports the technical implementation of software product delivery by working closely with project teams and end users. The role requires developing a deep understanding of stakeholder requirements, applying industry best practices, and leveraging system knowledge to design optimal solutions that align with business processes. The analyst ensures that delivered solutions meet or exceed functional requirements through active involvement in requirements gathering, system analysis, solution design, and testing.

Key activities include:

• Interfacing with team members and stakeholders to document business needs.
• Translating functional requirements into actionable technical specifications.
• Supporting solution design and configuration in alignment with client processes.
• Developing and executing functional test plans, including writing test scripts.
• Supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), defect management, and validation. 
• Ensuring deliverables meet contractual, compliance, and quality standards.
   

• Active Secret Security Clearance. Must be active to be considered for an interview. 
• Hands-on experience with testing applications, writing test scripts, and gathering requirements.  
• Exposure to ServiceNow platform functionality and configuration.  
• Ability to translate business needs into structured technical solutions.  
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
