Office Coordinator - Recuperative Care Center
The Deborah Smith Walsh Recuperative Care Center (RCC) is seeking a talented and compassionate addition to our team. In this vital multifaceted role, you will provide support for respite patients at the Deborah Walsh Recuperative Care program. This position serves as a program ambassador to internal and external stakeholders, serving as often the first impression of the RCC. This position’s tasks contribute to our ability to maintain a safe and therapeutic space of healing for our community’s most resilient members.
This role will provide high-quality, comprehensive nonclinical support services to patients in a variety of settings, ranging from medical respite, walk-in services, and medical outreach.
In this role you will:
1. Responsible for coordinating daily activities and functions of the Integrated RCC including all Behavioral Health and Medical tasks.
2. Organize and maintain record keeping data collection systems, including patient registration forms, encounter forms, and provider’s notes; maintain and organize all files.
3. Schedule patient appointments for both medical and Behavioral Health.
4. Answer phones.
5. Assist RCC leadership and other staff clinicians with promoting clinic services and assuring necessary communication among LCHC, patients, external stakeholders, and community partners.
QUALIFICATIONS:
*History of satisfactory attendance and a positive work attitude.
*Experience with adults living with substance use disorder.
*Experience in a Health Care and/or Mental Health setting; familiar with medical records and medical terminology preferred.
*Computer/typing Skills; Experience with Microsoft office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
*Knowledge of Third Party Billing, insurance reimbursement.
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires frequent multitasking; Flexibility.
*Effective Communication skills with multiple disciplines, professionals, and students/parents.
*Excellent organizational skills and social skills.
* Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, detail oriented, and assertive when necessary.
