Title: Tech Installation Engineer

Job Description:
As a Tech Installation Engineer, this position will primarily focus on Tech Installation Training, Onboarding,
and Special Projects. This position will be responsible for assisting leadership in upholding HQ and
Department Policies and Standards while on-site. In addition to training, this role is used as a flexible
resource capable of filling any project role assignment, including but not limited to: Lead, Long Haul, Flex,
Closer, and Controls.
Pay & Benefits:
● $25-28/hr Starting compensation based on experience
○ Regular 5 hours of weekly overtime

● 8 Paid Holidays + 15 PTO Days for vacation, sick or bereavement use
Hours & Schedule:
● Expected Weekly Hours: 45-50 while in-office, 70+ hours weekly while traveling
● Travel Expectations: Extensive (85%+ of the workload)
○ Trips are up to 23 days consecutively, 10.5 hour working days (minus break)
○ Trips are local and out-of-state. Travel is paid for by The Escape Game.
● Expected Schedule:
○ Office: Monday - Friday (day shift)
○ Installation: Monday - Friday plus weekends (Dayshift / Midshift / Nightshift - depends on
installation schedule, weekend work often includes accompanying rest/off days during the
upcoming workweek)
○ Emergency Travel: As needed, could include nights & weekends with extended hours
● Oncall: Yes
Job Responsibilities: Product Deployment
● Prepare for future projects by doing the following
○ Create initial wire plan for pre-wire while keeping in line with TEG Standards
○ Provide kickoff details for assigned projects
■ Travel plan, Wiring sheet, camera / speaker layouts, ect
○ Review Plansets and perform onsite callouts for electrical plan issues
○ Make sure travel packouts are restocked
● Perform Various Onsite Tasks while traveling for Tech Projects - Prewire / Installations /
Renovations / Special Projects
○ Run Cable
○ Terminate and Test Game Components, Control Panels, Fire Access, Audio, Video, and IT
systems
○ Troubleshoot issues that arise
○ Communicate tech daily progress, concerns, and needs to site-pm and leadership
○ Be the point person for all assigned tech projects
● Lead others on and off the Game Technology team
○ Assist with member assignment on projects
○ Generate daily work-flow / assignments while on-site to ensure project completion
○ Host and take notes during project debrief meetings
○ Train, Coach, and Develop team members on project policies, workflow, and skills
○ Track training progress within the training passport.
○ Coach team members with CGP and ensure that any coaching and corrections are
documented properly
○ Assist in hiring new team members
● Assist in the development and oversight of internal department policies and procedures
○ Be a foundational bridge between controls and installation
○ Verify install documentation, pre-wire sheets, etc.
○ Complete approvals during the final stages of the development process for new products
○ Organize and present feedback from installation projects to improve systems
