Quality Life Services is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with the Accounting team to maintain accurate financial records, reconciliations, and reports to support the daily operations of our multi-service healthcare organization.

We are a family owned and operated healthcare network in Western PA. Quality Life Services operates 10 skilled nursing facilities, as well as a Family Home Health and Hospice, Quality Medical Associates, Quality Pharmacy, and Quality Staffing. We have over 40 years of industry-leading experience and offer a wide range of services from skilled nursing, personal care, home health, hospice, as well as our own pharmacy. Responsibilities:

  •         Maintain accurate and timely financial records for multiple entities within the healthcare system.
  •         Record daily financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll entries, and general ledger postings.
  •         Prepare, review, and reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and balance sheet accounts monthly.
  •         Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals.
  •         Generate and maintain financial reports for management review.
  •         Support billing and collections processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.
  •         Monitor vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
  •         Assist with audits, surveys, and regulatory reporting requests.
  •         Maintain confidentiality of all financial and organizational records.

 

Requirements:

  •          Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  •          Minimum 2–3 years bookkeeping or accounting experience
  •          Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
  •          Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy
