Job Description
We are currently seeking a dynamic and talented Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for culinary innovation, a meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to lead and inspire a team of culinary professionals. As a Cook, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the culinary direction of our establishment and ensuring the highest levels of quality and service.
Responsibilities
- Execute creative and seasonal menus that reflect the club's culinary identity and meet the expectations of our members and guests.
- Manage inventory levels and ordering to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Provide leadership and guidance to kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with management to control food costs, optimize profitability, and enhance the dining experience.
- Stay abreast of culinary trends, techniques, and industry developments to continually elevate our offerings and maintain our competitive edge.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Proven track record of success as an Cook or Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant, luxury resort, or private club setting.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a reputable culinary institution.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Deep understanding of culinary principles, flavor profiles, and ingredient sourcing.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and deliver exceptional results under pressure.
- Creative flair and passion for culinary innovation, with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
- ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training preferred.
