Your Role

The Marketing and Digital team creates and maintains the foundation and features upon which Stellarus technical products are built. The Scrum Master, Consultant, will report to the Senior Manager, IT Development. In this role you will apply Agile (SCRUM) methodologies to all assigned teams, own Jira reporting and dashboard management and tracking, design strategies for alignment with enterprise agile goals and effectively facilitate agile ceremonies with both engineering/technical teams and product/business teams.
 

Responsibilities

Your Work

In this role, you will:

  • Agile Team Support - Serves as the Scrum Master/Team Coach for Agile teams.
  • Educates and leads one or more Agile teams in Scrum, Built-in Quality, Kanban and Scaled Agile (SAFe) principles and practices.
  • Facilitates Program Increment (PI) Planning readiness by preparing the Agile team for PI Planning and supporting the team to create PI plans, objectives, and business values. 
  • Collaborates with other Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches and Product Management roles across the enterprise to help business units mature on the path towards business agility.
  • Leads iteration execution by facilitating team events (e.g., backlog refinement, team planning, team sync, team review and demo, retrospective).
  • Owns JIRA reporting, dashboard management and tracking
  • Ensures strategic direction of projects is in line and designs strategies for alignment with Enterprise Agile goals and objectives
  • Manage dependencies between the scrum teams, release management teams, third party development & QA and other scrum teams
  • Drive continuous improvement for quality, delivery and flow
     

Qualifications

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and Scaled Agile (SAFe) Certification and 7 years of Project Management skills or Scrum Master experience.
  • Requires Scaled Agile (SAFe) certification: Scrum Master or Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM).
  • Preferred Scrum Master certification (PSM II, PSM III, CSP, CTC); CSM, A-CSM (Scrum Alliance certifications).
  • Preferred experience as a Scrum Master role for minimum of two years for a Scrum team.
  • Preferred experience using JIRA and AgilePlace.
  • Requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Requires experience as a Scrum Master for a scrum team for Digital application development
  • Requires deep understanding of digital applications and processes used for IT development like CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, and DevOps automation 
  • Requires a solid understanding of working in a complex IT delivery environment with a team focus and enterprise objectives
  • Requires deep knowledge of product and platform engineering as compared to project management

  • On-Site: Work from a business unit-approved office an average of four (4) or more days a week.
