Casadonna is a brand new concept in collaboration with Groot Hospitality and Tao Group. The restaurant will focus on high end, refined, Coastal Italian cuisine, specializing in house made pastas and crudos.

We are building a supportive, empowering, passionate culture hyper focused on seasonality and technique.

Located in the Historic Womans Club of Miami, this high volume waterfront restaurant is set to change the landscape of Miami’s dining scene.


Who you are: You, as a Kitchen Receiver, have a strong passion for food, an eagerness to build on your skills and knowledge of different foods and products, and learn more about our cuisine. You exemplify the highest standards of honesty and integrity. You are a solution oriented team player and have excellent communication skills. You have a love and passion for the hospitality industry.

You will be responsible for the complete process of receiving and rotating all products delivered to the venue. This is a position that will grow you as a chef and teach you how to succeed and excel in this career path.


Lifts and carries sacks and cases of up to 70 lbs., up to 20 times per shift: places these items on high shelves and in walk-in and freezers.

  • Responsible of ensuring all products received are correct, including what we ordered, specified brand or grade, highest quality, proper amount & weight, temperature.
  • Daily Deliveries & PO’s to include: meat, fish produce, dry good, grocery, operating supplies, and linens.
  • Consistently ensure that station remains clean and organized with complete understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
  • Communicates effectively with the kitchen team and embodies an environment of team work.
  • Demonstrate an eagerness to refine techniques and a desire to continually learn and grow.
  • Sweep & mop every day the dry store, main walk in, protein walk in, plus chemical area. Break down cardboard boxes where and when needed. Everything falls under the department’s area of responsibility – this may mean cleaning, organizing, helping with beverage – whatever needs to happen to get the job done
  • Punctuality and reliability. Must be aware of company policies regarding benefits, call outs, vacation hours, and uniform standards.
  • Being detail oriented and organized
  • Working cleanly, efficiently and quickly.
  • Reporting equipment repair and maintenance to chefs immediately
  • Report when food items are running low
  • The desire to learn and grow
  • The ability to analyze and problem solve.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Applicants should have at least 3 years of kitchen experience in a high pace environment
  • Exceptional organization, time management, and problem solving.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and punctual
  • Great attitude, respectful and a team player
  • Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours and lift at least 50 pounds
  • Must have a sense of urgency
