Summary: 

The Fraud Detections Analyst role supports the strategic development and execution of early fraud detection, prevention, and mitigation while supporting member growth and reduced consumer friction. 

 

Education and/or Experience: 

  • Associates degree or a minimum of four years’ fraud experience 

  • Minimum two years financial fraud experience required 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Performs daily reviews of multi transaction types, conducting research, while making appropriate notes supporting next step decisions 

  • Helps to detect and prevent potential fraud across all payment channels 

  • Conducts research on individuals and entities utilizing public domain and database search services 

  • Escalates potential suspicious activity after thorough review, and research 

  • Enters cases of possible fraud into system 

  • Organize documents submitted comprising of transactions and notes from staff; analyzing nature and severity of possible fraud and referring to the Fraud Investigations team 

  • Recognize patterns of fraud and suggest new methods of detection, mitigation, and prevention 

  • Assist with the implementation of new processes and software solutions 

  • Exercise good judgement to independently resolve problems that require in depth research 

  • Actively participate in team meetings, share information, and make suggestions for improvements to fraud operations 

  • Performs other duties as assigned

The good faith range for this position is $28.00 to $33.50 hourly. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law. 

 

All candidates will be subject to a background check, credit check, and drug test to determine employment eligibility.
