As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance duties throughout the property. Unit Description:

Delaware North's operations in Grand Canyon National Park offer the opportunity to experience living and working in one of the natural wonders of the world. We provide a variety of employee housing options including shared trailers, apartments, dorm rooms, and houses, with amenities including a community center, free internet, workout, and recreational equipment. We also offer team member food and retail discounts.

Responsibilities:
  • Complete assigned maintenance requests, ensuring timely completion, thoroughness, and cost effectiveness 
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs including water softener upkeep, basic carpentry, painting, and second-level trade functions such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boiler, and kitchen equipment 
  • Handle multiple work orders independently, perform trade call-outs as needed, and report issues requiring specialized attention 
  • Adhere to safety, risk management, and environmental procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment 
  • Assist with landscaping duties and maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and inventory 
  • Requires a valid driver's license to operate company vehicle. 
Qualifications:
  • No high school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience required
  • Previous experience with fire and boiler heat systems preferred
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record with ability to drive during inclement weather. 
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, standing, walking, and kneeling
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
