JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to lead and manage the organization’s direct tax function, ensuring full compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations while optimizing tax efficiency. The role is critical in safeguarding the company’s financial interests through effective tax planning, risk management, and litigation strategy. - Litigation Cases Handled: Manages 10–15 active tax litigation cases at various appellate levels.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Chartered Accountant
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in direct taxation.
- Experience should include:
- Tax compliance and reporting
- Handling tax assessments and litigation
- Exposure to transfer pricing and international taxation (preferred)
- Working in or with companies in the Energy or Infrastructure sector (preferred)
