The Service Sales Executive is responsible for developing long-term customer relationships with building owners to maximize account penetration and customer retention. You will provide knowledge and consultation in the form of developing HVAC system related solutions for customer problems, including financial and performance-based consideration. Your focus will be on providing customers a total solution for the most energy efficient buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Work safely and with the highest degree of integrity at all times.
- Serve as Account Manager to assigned accounts working closely with Building Owner and Facilities customers in driving Retrofit Projects and Time & Material proposals that address the customer’s specific pain points and needs.
- Determine needs, develop and execute an account specific business plan to identify the long term, mutual support requirements required to facilitate a strong, profitable and successful partnership.
- Convert leads into opportunities by assigning the appropriate sales process, identifying the required project team members, making assignments, and communicating the next steps in the process.
- Gather and validate preliminary information and perform facility walk through, plan review or other requirements.
- Responsible for project take-off, selection, proposal pricing and selling strategy, and integration of equipment, controls, and services.
- Assist customers in answering technical questions on HVAC systems, HVAC products, and system application alternative, controls, installation, operation, maintenance, and problem resolution.
- Travel to customer job sites is required, which may include outdoor work and/or work in mechanical/equipment rooms. During the site visits, the employee may be exposed to variable weather conditions; moving mechanical parts; heights, and other variable environmental conditions based on location.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum two (2) years of solution sales experience in HVAC and control systems as well as related service agreements.
- Proven track record of success in prospecting and technical sales.
- Great communication skills both oral and written.
- Proven track record of building strong and meaningful relationships with Building Owners and Facility end users, serving as their trusted advisor, advocate, consultant and partner.
- Great attention to detail.
- Able to work alone and within a team.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with no major or frequent traffic violations in the last 12 months included, but not limited to:
- DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
Physical Requirements:
- Capable of climbing ladders, walking up/downstairs, lifting up to 25 lbs, walking for extended periods of time, stooping, kneeling, twisting, bending.
- Much of the role will be stationary on a computer or driving to client and prospective client locations.

Salary:
Base Salary: $70,000-$90,000 annually + service sales incentive plan. (Base salary range is based on skill and industry experience).
