CTG is seeking to fill a Senior Technical Engineer opening for our client.

 

Location: Remote
Duration: 3 months

 

Overview:
Provides high-level technical solutions, designs, documentation, and guidance for the development and deployment of new or existing systems.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead design, development, and implementation of technical solutions.

  • Perform infrastructure architecture, system analysis, and testing.

  • Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and estimate project efforts.

  • Coordinate vendor interactions and manage vendor resources.

  • Mentor less experienced staff and review their work.

  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of applications, environments, and vendor products.

  • Assist in budgeting and ensure compliance with risk, regulatory, and internal controls.

  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and support organizational standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.

  • Represent technical expertise in internal and client/vendor interactions.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

  • None

Education and Experience Required:

  • 12+ years combined education and/or experience in systems design, management, or architecture.

  • Strong understanding of system development, infrastructure lifecycle, IT Service Management, and vendor best practices.

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

  • 12+ years advanced experience in infrastructure design, system development, or complex applications.

  • Advanced skills in analysis, troubleshooting, problem solving, and technical execution.

  • Knowledge of server/client and virtual technologies.

  • Experience with project estimation, planning, and budgets.

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $74.35 to $123.90. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and—where applicable—licensure or certifications. In addition to salary, a competitive benefits package is offered.
