The Admissions Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Admissions. The admissions coordinator provides direct support to RTS Global students to promote retention, engagement, and academic success. This position serves as a primary point of contact for student services, assists in the onboarding of new students, monitors student well-being, and coordinates community-building initiatives. The admissions coordinator is responsible for ensuring timely and professional communication while fostering a welcoming and supportive online learning environment.

Essential Job Functions
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Conduct onboarding calls with recently admitted students to ensure smooth transition into RTS Global.
- Manage admissions-related functions through Salesforce, including application tracking and processing.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for student inquiries via phone and email; answer and appropriately route calls for RTS Global.
- Facilitate, plan, and implement online community events and initiatives to strengthen student connection and engagement.
- Organize and distribute the RTS Global student newsletter on a regular basis.
- Assemble and distribute welcome packets for new students and mentor packets as needed.
- Assist with planning and execution of seasonal RTS Global events and staff meetings.
- Monitor student wellbeing and retention efforts.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student communications and services provided.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the mission and objectives of RTS Global.
Requirements
Qualifications, Education, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
- Professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Additional Qualification Preferences and Competencies:
- Enrollment in or successful completion of at least some seminary coursework preferred.
- Ability to learn and utilize new software systems (e.g., Jenzabar, learning management systems, event platforms).
- Student-centered approach with demonstrated care for student success and retention.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team.
- Commitment to building a supportive and engaged online student community.
Cognitive and Physical Demands
- Computer work, screen time, keyboarding, typing, wrist flexing/extension and other repetitive movements.
- Professional judgment in alignment with organizational values and policies is required.
- Effective communication, both verbal and written.
- Kneeling, standing, reaching, twisting, grasping, and lifting (up to 15 pounds).
